I live with my wife, who was my high school sweetheart, our six-year-old daughter, and one-year-old identical twin daughters. The only other male in the house is our cat, Buddy Love, and since he spends 90% of his day under the bed I am hopelessly outnumbered.
Photography has always been important in our family. Growing up, my dad always had a camera around to document birthdays, vacations, and graduations. I purchased my first Nikon DSLR in 2008 and within a week found myself covering my first event, covering a Nascar race in South Boston, VA for Kerry Earnhardt, Inc. Although chasing my kids around and preserving memories of their childhood is of the utmost importance to me, being able to do the same for every family and wedding I’ve been able to photograph is what makes this the most amazing job in the world.
I am primarily a wedding and family portrait photographer but also cover local sports teams and corporate and charity events. I have been fortunate enough to have had several pictures published, including photos for the Potomac Nationals, Washington Kastles (Three time World Team Tennis Champions), Fashion For Paws and the Washington Humane Society.
When I’m not editing your session chances are you’ll find me either watching ‘Firefly’ or old G1 Transformers seasons, staring at my P90X dvds telling myself that I’ll start tomorrow, or on my PS3 missing the days of simple 8bit gaming. If you happen to throw a Ravens themed wedding I wouldn’t complain one bit.
