My last wedding of the 2012 season saw Jessica and Patrick exchange vows before friends and family at the Inn at Vint Hill. Jessica and Patrick met seven years ago as co-workers and, with many friends in common, began spending more and more time together. Two years later they were inseparable and grew to appreciate the differences each brought to the relationship. Jessica’s love of order, cleanliness and quiet; and Patrick’s love of reptiles and his outgoing personality. Jessica sums up their relationship by simply saying “We each have our quirks. We aren’t perfect people but together we just work! We’re just perfect for each other!”
Patrick proposed to Jessica in April and was soon off to basic training before coming home in October. The day after saying “I do” to each other they began the long drive to Texas as they prepare Patrick’s deployment. I was honored to be chosen to capture this young couple’s wedding and beginning of their new life together. I found out later in the night that Jessica’s mother was actually a nurse in the NICU when my daughters were born. It’s a small world! Congratulations, Jessica and Patrick, thank you for allowing me to be part of your day.
