Washington Humane Society: Pups in The Park With The Washington Nationals

On a gorgeous Saturday afternoon, the Washington Nationals once again hosted the Washington Humane Society‘s Pups in The Park.  Pups in The Park has quickly become a favorite event for fans of both the Nats and WHS.  The first of four sold out events for 2014 took place against the St. Louis Cardinals and, before the game, dogs were allowed to take a lap around Nats Park.

Fans began lining up for their chance to take the field as early as 10am!  Once inside an amazing cast of our canine friends took their lap around the park, taking in the sights and playing up to the crowd.

Following their lap the pups made their way inside the park to catch some Nationals baseball.  Unfortunately, the Nationals fell to the Cards 4-2, but they didn’t care. As long as there were other pups to play with, water to drink and plenty of love to go around they were happy as can be. The Nats are hosting three more PITP events this summer, so come out to section 143 and say hi!
